moon_blitzHello, mystery author! Thanks in advance for writing for me, whether it be a trick or a treat. All prompt ideas are suggestions only, so you don’t have to follow them if you don’t want to.
I like well-crafted plots, character studies, fluff, most AUs, and romance. I’m totally ok with both gen and smut fic, so write whatever you’re comfortable with.
I don’t like gore/detailed descriptions of violence, major character death, rape, or a/b/o, so please stay away from that.
Another
Characters: Any
Being a mystery/horror series, Another is perfect for this type of exchange. I loved the creepy atmosphere present throughout the series, and the psychological horror of a curse that can’t be stopped is something that originally drew me to the series. Fic can be set pre-, during or post-canon, I’ll be happy with any.
Treat: Teshigawara and Kazami are childhood friends, so something cute about them would be lovely. Something set during the Obon festival would be cool too, as would a fic developing Kouichi and Mei’s relationship. My ships are Teshigawara/Kazami, Kouichi/Mei and Teshigawara/Kouichi/Kazami
Trick: Yomiyama has got to have a haunted house or two around, and someone’s bound to get in trouble if they investigate it. Something dealing with the effects of the calamity itself, either while it’s happening or after it’s all over would be great too.
Doctor Who (1963)
Characters: Chang Lee, Eighth Doctor, Grace Holloway, Tegan Jovanka, Nyssa of Traken
Doctor Who does both horror and fluff well, especially what I’ve seen of Classic Who, so go wild! I’m not fully up to speed on Eight’s media (aside from the movie and the early audios) or all of Tegan’s and Nyssa’s runs, so it would be nice if you could avoid any major spoilers.
Treat: Eight returns to check on Grace and/or Lee and they hang out or he takes them on an adventure. Tegan and Nyssa doing science experiments together would be cute, or get stranded somewhere and have to adapt to the local wildlife/population while they wait for the Doctor to come back. A story with everyone meeting everyone else would be really cool too. My ships are any combination of Eight, Grace and Chang Lee, and Nyssa/Tegan.
Trick: From what I gather from his later audios, Eight can get very dark, especially when you add in the Time War. Lee is a former gang member, so a fic dealing with his life pre-Doctor would be awesome. Some sort of viral/alien/zombie invasion of San Francisco that Grace and Lee have to deal with (with or without the Doctor) would be cool too. As for Nyssa and Tegan, a science experiment gone wrong would be lovely, as would them being trapped somewhere with something they can’t deal with.

Characters: Clara Oswald, Danny Pink, Jenny Flint, Madame Vastra, Twelfth Doctor, The War Doctor
As I said above, Doctor Who is great at both scary stuff and happy things, so I’ll be happy with either choice! I’m up to date on everything except The War Doctor’s novel, so no need to worry about spoilers.
Treat: Twelve taking Clara (and Danny, if he’s a companion by time of writing) on a trip to a vacation planet/spaceship/whatever would be really cute, as would general interaction between them. Madame Vastra and Jenny’s day-to-day life would be awesome, or they could team up with Twelve and/or Clara again. For the War Doctor, him going somewhere quiet or to visit Vastra just to take a break from the war would be great as well. Maybe he runs into a young Danny if he goes to Earth? My ships are Twelve/Clara, Clara/Danny, Vastra/Jenny and Vastra/Clara/Jenny.
Trick: Twelve runs into trouble while he’s travelling and Clara isn’t around to help him, or Clara and Danny have to deal with a creepy alien at school without the Doctor. Vastra and Jenny encounter an unfriendly “ghost” of some kind, or a particularly nasty prank gone wrong. The Time War was also very brutal, so the War Doctor dealing with fallout from that or the consequences of his own actions would be awesome as well.
Moonlight (TV)
Characters: Any
Moonlight fits into this exchange perfectly, so I knew I had to nominate and request it. Vampires can be friendly, but they can also be very nasty as well! Fic can be set pre-, during or post-canon.
Treat: Mick and Beth celebrate Halloween together, or Mick and Josef compare past Halloweens to the present celebrations. Talbot trying to become better friends with Mick or an awkward date between him and Beth would be cute as well. Talbot finding out about vampires and/or meeting Josef for the first time would also be great. I ship everyone with everyone, so write whoever you want.
Trick: Beth or Talbot coming face-to-face with an upset vampire and having to deal with it alone or Mick and Beth dealing with a gruesome case would be really cool. Josef hinted that he was involved in some nasty stuff in the past, so exploring that would be interesting.
Pokemon (Video Games)
Characters: Blue | Green (Pokemon), Gold (Pokemon), Silver (Pokemon), Red (Pokemon)
Pokemon has great potential for both creepy fics and cute fics, especially with all the ghost and dark type Pokemon around.
Treat: Any of the characters hanging out with each other or going on adventures would be great, as would something where Green helps Red out when he’s on Mt. Silver. Gold helping Silver deal with his past would be cute as well.
Trick: A ghost Pokemon plays a prank on someone, or they get lost while exploring. Green and Red reflecting on their actions during the years between gen. 1 and gen. 2 would be cool, as would Silver struggling to separate himself from Team Rocket.
