AVIDGAMERS IS BACK! OMG! *flails*

I first starting roleplaying there shortly after we got internet (so...late 2001), and it was my home for years until the owners decided to shut the servers down in 2007. I've missed it dearly since then, especially after Acornrack/Spleafnet shut down and I had to move on to places like Proboards. I am so happy it's back, even if it's for a short while. I have ideas to re-create Minbou, the Pokemon site I used to run on Avidgamers 2/Acornrack, but even if I don't, I'll be keeping an eye on the place and seeing if any interesting sites pop up.

First, [community profile] musing_way is looking for more members. It's an rp community based around prompts, which people reply to in-character, but there's also a regular rp option as well. I'm not a member yet, but I'm thinking about joining.

Second, is happening! I've already filled a number of prompts, most of which I'll be posted here as the ficathon progresses, so I urge anyone who's looking for a way to kickstart their muse or just wants to have a bit of fun to check it out!
