The face of a leader
Name: Coop/Samuel "Sam" Cooper
Age: Unknown, probably late 40's
Nationality: American
Appears in: Criminal Minds (5x18 - "The Fight"), Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior (full series)
Played By: Forest Whitaker
Coop is the leader of one of the FBI's (fictional) 'Red Cell' teams, which function a lot like the regular profiling teams but aren't quite as strict with regards to the regulations. He's fierce towards the criminals he pursues, but also seeks to learn from them and find out what makes them tick, all in the name of becoming a better profiler. Despite the darkness he sees everyday, Coop's pretty upbeat about most things, although he does have his moody moments. Still, one do not want to get on his bad side, because he's a pretty good fighter, as seen when he's displaying his skills at Kali:
Unfortunately, there isn't a lot to say about Coop, since Suspect Behavior was cut after just 13 episodes, so not a whole lot was revealed about him. Still, I consider Coop to be a pretty awesome guy, since he's a very forgiving person (being a former priest probably helps with this) and extremely loyal to his team. He cares about all of them and does his best to support them however he can.
Favourite Pairing(s): Sam/Beth, because they work well together and balance each other out and Sam/Mick because they have great chemistry.
