I decided to pick up the 100 Favourite Things meme that has been going around, and after some thought, chose to do my 100 favourite characters, because I'm certain that I have at least enough favourites to do it. The characters involved will come from a wide range of Western Live-Action TV and Japanese anime, because including characters from books and movies and games is just a little too much. Anyway, I hope you guys have fun reading these entries, and maybe you'll discover a new series or ten to check out!

A blonde American cradling a gun. Stereotypical? Yes. Awesome? YES.

Name: K/Claude Winchester
Age: Unknown, probably early 30's
Nationality: American
Appears in: Gravitation
Voiced By: Ryotaro Okiayu (Japanese original), Brian Maillard (English dub)

Meet K, the blonde-haired, blue-eyed, gun-toting, smoking American. When we meet him in the series, he's just become the manager of Bad Luck, the band at the heart of the show. As if Gravitation wasn't crazy enough with the romantic entanglements of the main character, the addition of K to the cast kicks things up a notch. Just check out his introductory scene with the band:

Aside from being a bit of a prankster, he speaks Japanese fluently while also sprinkling some English into his speech, which is done quite well by his Japanese voice actor (his catchphrase is "Big News!", and he uses "Yes" quite a bit). As for what I've seen of the English dub, his voice actor in it actually matches the character, which is more than I can say for some of the cast (yeah, I'm not too impressed with the dub, can you tell?).

As for the character himself, while K can act dangerously crazy at times (he almost always has a gun on him, usually his trusty pistol), he cares deeply for Bad Luck and his determined to see them come out on top in whatever they do, be it love or the music business. Although it's never touched in in the anime, the manga reveals that he has wife and a young son, so he's also a loving family man. So while K can be stereotypical at times, he's also an awesome guy who adds greatly to the comedic aspect of Gravitation.

Favourite Pairing(s): None, since his wife isn't shown in the anime, and there's no one else we really clicks with. AWESOME SINGLE DUDE, YEAH!
